Recovery is more than just abstinence. It is estimated about 1/3 of our Veterans return from Iraq and Afghanistan with PTSD, mental illness or traumatic brain injury. Full recovery may take months to years. Reintegration is a slow process. Our friends at New Directions (http://ndvets.org) in Westwood, CA provides a comprehensive recovery program for Veterans. Currently, New Directions provides vocational and educational support services. The 12 Angels’ team asked the team at New Directions what we can do to help, they suggested providing more education, training and jobs.One of the 12 Angels new projects is providing Internet Marketing training and education to our Veterans.
