Sober Living version 2.0

Hi Recovery Community,

The 12 Angels spent the last 9 months helping Chandler Lodge in North Hollywood, CA with financial, accounting, administrative and management support. The 12 Angels got introduced to Chandler Lodge by Glenn Kulik. Glenn, Frank B., John T., Danny C. and Frank M. all worked for the last few years to establish new leadership at the Lodge. The process was difficult and costly. Each of these individuals worked very hard and made significant sacrifices to help Chandler Lodge . Chandler Lodge is one of the oldest sober living facilities in Los Angeles. It serves 35 men recovering from alcoholism and addiction.

The 12 Angels Kurt Norrigan worked with Glenn K., Frank B, Frank M., John T. and Danny C. to place Chandler Lodge on a solid foundation. We are all proud of the accomplishments of these individuals and progress made at the Lodge. Glenn K. has a vision of turning Chandler Lodge into a model of recovery in the community. But what is that model. Recently we have been tossing around different concepts for what makes a great sober living.

Chandler Lodge has many assets: an Alano Club, 12 Step Meeting Hall, Gym and housing for 35 men. This gives us quite a bit to work with. We thought it would be interesting to ask the question, if we could design the perfect sober living what would it include. Our goal is to come up with the specifications of Sober Living version 2.0. The recovery community in Los Angeles is vibrant and growing. We look forward to hearing your suggestions and comments.
